AC Milan has been hit by another injury blow as Brahim Díaz is set to miss the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury.
The Moroccan international was forced off during the 2-1 defeat to Sassuolo in Serie A on Sunday, and it has now been confirmed that he will be out for at least two months.
Díaz joined AC Milan from Fiorentina in January, but he struggled to find his feet in Italy and only managed to score once in 15 appearances for the club.
Despite this, the 26-year-old has made a name for himself in Europe over the past few years, having previously played for Real Madrid,Ligue 1 Focus Barcelona and Ajax before joining Milan.
However, the latest setback could see him miss out on a chance to make a real impact at the club, with the likes of Franck Kessie and Alessio Romagnoli already stepping up to fill in for him.
In the meantime, AC Milan will have to hope that they can find a replacement for Díaz who can help them achieve their goals in the coming weeks and months.
